A Close Look at Our Range of Blowers

During mechanical activities, a lot of heat gets generated. If your machine parts overheat, they can stall your process, damage your end-product, or spoil your equipment. Unwanted dangerous fumes can be generated. To prevent this from happening, blowers and exhausters are incorporated as part of the manufacturing process. They blow air on sections of equipment that need to have their temperature regulated or exhaust fumes from the work area.

When you’re choosing a blower, there are several things to keep in mind. There are two main kinds: centrifugal blowers and positive displacement blowers. Centrifuge-based blowers work by using blades to fling the media that requires blowing. Positive displacement blowers work by squeezing a fluid to increase its pressure and velocity.

Other factors to take into account while selecting a blower include speed in cubic feet per minute, design, pressure, and blade curvature. In centrifugal blowers, a forward curve offers more air volume at low pressure, while backward blades are more efficient. Radial blades sometimes have the advantage of being self-cleaning. As you choose an exhauster, check for any additional features like dampers, louvers, diffusers, and adjustable speed.

The Interfil Multi-stage Centrifugal Blower is made from 10mm heavy cast alloy, giving it strength and durability. Its impellers are statically and dynamically balanced, and the blower can be used in between 1 and 5 stages, depending on your requirements.

In terms of pressure, this piece of equipment can handle up to 30 Kpa. It’s a low-noise model, with a sound output of less than 80db. It’s quite easy to maintain, thanks to its oil-free bearings, so it’s a lot less messy to operate and service. Of course, it has the added benefit of being designed, built, and manufactured right here in Australia, giving it an extra dose of quality and trust. Being a local brand, you also have an edge when it comes to on-site servicing and customer care.

If you’re worried about your electricity bill, you don’t need to be. The Multi-Stage Centrifugal Blower is specifically designed to be energy efficient, and it has remarkably low power consumption. It’s also light in weight, because of the alloy used to put it together. The light-weight body in no way affects its stability or durability though. It’s a well-made machine, both inside and out.

Each impeller inside the blower is individually designed. The impellers are keyed to 4140 shafting grades. If your blower will be exposed to tough materials, they can be reinforced with powder coating or extra protection. Let us know if this is something you require.

The vacuums generated by this blower go as high as 25Kpa, and the airflow can go up to 2,500 m3 per hour. To enhance the blower’s performance even further, it has v-belt or direct drive installed. Like all our machinery, the Multi-stage Centrifugal Blower comes with a 12-month warranty and is fully guaranteed.
